Yawns are Forbidden

Just the title of our course alone, "American Government," may cause yawns if not snarls, but we are going to look more closely and who or what is really running this country and what is means for us. Try to hold any skepticism you may have at bay because the state of America's government is not fixed and change is inevitable. Parts of the story of how America and its government came to be and the government's evolution are really quite amazing. Let's see where "we" are today and where "we" might be going. Let's see what opportunities we can discover or create to make our lives as rich and meaningful as we desire, whatever this entails on a personal and public basis.
